My December Holidays
Hi Kids
I have had some of you coming to me askinf if you could share with your friends on blog how you spent the last December holidays. So, I want all of you to make use of this space to tell us what you did during the school break in December

jasmine(4.4)= Ms Suzanah, I did nothing much during the holidays.... just swimming, eating, playing and going through the primary 4 books. I did not go on a holiday, sentosa, not even Malaysia. I really wished to come back to school. It was so boring at home. Well, that's all I can say about my holidays.

cindy(4.4)-i went to singapore zoo for my holiday's.i saw many animals like tiger,monkey,orang outan, snake and elephant.
Hanna(4.4)- I went to Jurong Birdpark for the holidays. i really enjoyed it there. I saw many Birds. My favourite part was when i saw the penguins. They were really cute! I hope i can re-visit again.
Jie Yi (4.4) - During December Holidays, i played alot. I went for a dancing camp for 4 days.I went to Bedok swimming complex and watch my brother's swimming examitation. I also went to Jurong swimmming complex to play with my friends. I also went to NEWater for a while. After NEWater trip, I went to Jurong swimming complex again to play with my family. It was a fun time in December Holidays... But for now, school has started... Oh Well, have to wait till the nest holiday!

I went to Taiwan last december. I also went to the Taipei Zoo and bought a cute square-shape tortoise.It can also glow in the dark.
If you want to see the tortoise come and see me.
Cheryl(4.4)-During the holidays i went to Malaysia to vist my grandparents, i went there and saw many things that our country don't have.I played with many of my cousin and meet my aunties and uncles besides of going to Malaysia, i did swimming,reading,studying,playing and others more.I really enjoy playing but i still wish i can go to school earlier so it will not be so boring and i won't quarrel with my sister!

I spent my holidays in singapore and i day only at JB!!!In singapore i went to marina square, united square, church, IMM, takashimaya, bukit panjang plaza...(i kind of like forgotten some!!!)In JB i went there at 10.00 a.m. and came back at 7.00 p.m.

Darren(4.4), i want to change my handwriting = tidiness!i been praticing my hand writing since november!i hope i will improve!by the way please link me up for the blog. ultradarren.blogspot.com . if you visit my blog please do not say *hi darren!* because i recieved jason , clarice and sean saying *hi darren*. I also went to sentosa to ride the Luge Ride and Skyride. the rides are very fastinating!But sky ride is quite scary becuase when we ride it we were about 100feet tall,sky ride also stop sometimes, when we look out we could see the veiw of the 3 islands! the luge ride was 650m down! i speed up when they say SLOW DOWN and Winding ends.I had a wonderful time there!
Jared(4.4)- During December I went to Thailand.I went to a theme park and played many things such as viking and bumperboat.

I went to Genting for my December holiday. I palyed many fun games.(bumpper car,ferry ride and many other games)
The people in the hotel were very friendly. I love to play the Bubble Gum because I could blow my own bubble. I also can play TV games and watch Movies. I wish I could go there again.

i went to sentosa during the december holidays. i went to under water world.i saw many kind of water animal like shark,stingray,seahore and clown fish.i wish i can come to sentosa again.

During the december holidays,my family and I went to Australia.We were there because me aunt was studying in Australia.When we went there,it was 18 degrees!!
It was very fun because it felt as if you were in a "air-con" room. We spent eight days there.It was the first time I spent so many days on a overseas trip.
We ate instant noodles every day for breakfast because we had nothing to eat.All the outside food were very expensive so we cooked almost everyday.We went to parts of the country.We went to Perth and Albany.We booked a car to drive to albany.We lived in Perth for the first five days,Two days in albany,and final day back at Perth.We went to visiy aunt's house one last time then we went to Perth's airport to go back to singapore.
Jie Yi(4.4) - Ms Suzanah, I din't really do much at NEWater.I din't see the NEWater plant. So I would want to go to NEWater with our class.

jasmine(4.4)= Ms Suzanah, I had enough rest, Maybe just too much, I was really boring, at home.....with my irratating brother, you know him, Jasper.... He kept shouting it is like as if he's the boss of the house, he only does that when my father is not in the house or my father goes overseas.

During the December holidays my family and I was in Europe. we spent about 12 days there.We went to London, Paris, Venice, Switzerland, Belgium and the whole England. It took us twelve hours from Singapore to London. There were lots of countryside
When we reached there it was 6 A.M. in London. We were in a tour. I was so excited to get on with the tour. It was autumn and yet it was so cold! I was lucky it was not winter time! There is a mall called
Harold. My father told me that it was the place where an episode of Mr Bean was filmed. It was also very famous.
In Paris, it was winter. What I like about Paris
is the Mono Lisa and the Eiffel Tower. The Mono Lisa was in a famous art museum which I do not know the name, but the building was colourful. The Eiffel Tower was huge! I went up there Too! I couldn't believe my eyes!I could see the whole of Paris! It was a wonderful sight. At 7.45 p.m we went there again, but I was not directly bellow it. At 8p.m
it was sparkling! Tiny lights were hung around the Eiffel Tower as though like Christmas trees. It was very nice being in Paris.
In Switzerland, It was also winter. We went up a mountain. There were three stops for the
cable cars. We only got of two stops. The Moment we got up there it was snowing. I thought we only got of for the snow but I was wrong. The tour guide wanted to tell us about the mountain. But still, I played with the snow! The last stop was on the top of the mountain. On the mountain, it was full of snow. The tour guide gave us 30 minutes to play with the snow and go have a drink. We went down the same way. I like Switzerland best because of the snow. I reached home happy and tired. I only typed three places because if I typed more it would be very long and these are the best.
joshua(4.4)During my holiday,I went to three places. First I went to Pulai spring with my father`s ide of the family. We had lots of fun with our cousins aunts and uncles. When it was raining and we had nothing to do, we would usualy play Monopoly or watch tv. Sometimes we go swimming.
The second place is in Beijing, the capital of China and Xian which is the ancient capital of China. My favourite parts were skiing (which is what we came for) and the Great wall of china. We also had a snow fight. It was the best holiday I ever had.
Xin Min(4.4)During December Holidays,I spent my holidays in Singapore.I went to Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex to swim.I also went to Marina Square,Thomson Plaza,Causeway Point,Ang Mo Kio Hub and NorthPoint.I went to Jubilee to watch the movie "Alvin And The ChipMunk"

That's a fantastic description you shared with us about your hoidays @ Europe. How I envied you.. Never been there myself. Talking about Belgium, is it true that chocolates are aplenty there?

Yes, there were plenty of chocolate. but it was alittle expensive.

Albany is the place where whales will visit during September to early December. When we were there, the whales already left. We went to see the Wind Farm. The wind turbines were HUGE and they looked as if it was planted there by aliens. There were twelve turbines altogether. We went to The Gap. From the Gap,scientist found that Australia was linked to the Antarctica million years ago.We also visited the Blowhole. The Blowhole would shoot out water every few minutes. There were hotels in Australia but we did not stay in them, so we had to book apartments to stay in. We stayed in three to four room apartments. I hope to visit Australia again. :)

I went to Chiangmai and Chiangrai during the Holidays. It was rather fun. I got a Tour Package. When we arrived, we went inside the tour bus. The best I can remember is that we saw the Long neck Women.There was also Elephant rides. It was bumpy.This year, the Elephant is 39 years old. Female.We wnt across the River and I learned that some things can be recycled with Elephant Dung. I got tthis Elephant photo Album. Its material is from the Elephant Dung. I am so amazed at what i saw. That thing on their neck is 2KG. I cant even carry it. They have this belief that if they wear it, they will be beautiful and they wear it beacuse they are afraid the lions might bite their limbs example : Neck. I was on the trip from 7th Dec to 12 December. On the 21st - 23d, I went to Indonesia, Batam. We took about a 1hour ferry to Batam. Nothing much there.

I had a great time in my December holidays.Firstly,I went to Thailand.
It was very fun there,but it aws very hot.On the first day,we check in for room at a hotel.Then the next day, we went to the most popular market call the 'CHARTUCHUT'.There were many things there like 'toiletires and things that we wear.Such as 'slippers and clothes.
On the third day,we went to the beach.There are shops at the side of the beach.The sea water is very clean and blue.My Brother,my father and I went for a swim.
After swimming,the tour guide brought us to a resturant selling sea food.The food was delicious and tasty.I like the Chilli crab most.
On the last day, we went to some shops near our hotel.There were many things there.we had such a fun day at Thailand.
When we reached home,it was about8.45pm we were all very tired.I wish we could go to more country in the next December holiday.

I had a great time in my December holidays. I started my holiday with some readings at home. I locked myself in my room all day reading books. The only times I came out was having my meals, washing up, and watching the TV program.
After a month of reading, my father drove a car to Malaysia Bagan Serai and he brought me there too. We lived in the old Kampong house of my grandma's. I played all day with the friends who lived there. When it was time to go home, it was very sad to say goodbye to them, how nice they've been to me.
When I reached home, I helped my mother prepare for the new year. I normally wiped the windows and tidy up the house for mum. after all the hardword I packed my schoolbag for school.
My dear holiday ended like that. I should say goodbye 2007 and hello 2008.

During the december holiday,me and my family went shopping to buy christmas gift for my relatives,cousins and others as well.i remember one time my parents and my siblings went shopping,they shop until their legs are tired.one day my father's brother called my father to invite us to his house to celebrate christmas.when we reach there it was very crowded.my mother start to give out christmas present to childrens and adults there.some children even have 2,3,4 presents.i'm so jealous i only have one.me and my sister saw tanya and his brother joel which is my father's sister's children. we were having lots of fun when my mother called me and my sister into the houe to introduce me and my sister to a relative.after that my father says that we have to go home.when we reach home, i asked my mother can i have the remaining presents?.she said you can only have one.she gave me a present inside is a kolar bear.after giving me the present, I WENT to bed and sleep. it was a wonderful day

During the december holidays, I went to my grandma's house to stay for more than one week. I go there with my cousins, Yong Jie and Yong Ping. I have seven cousins. Four of my cousins lived in Hougang Tower one and Tower three near my grandma's house. I stayed in Ang Mo Kio while Yong Jie and Yong Ping stayed in Sambawang(i don't know how to spell). On the second day, My godfather and my godmather brought four of my cousins to Tampines to buy clothes. My four cousins were Joyce, Yong Jie, Yong Ping and me. My godfather bought me two terrapins which can glow in the dark. It is not so expensive. One for $4 and one the comtainer is $10.80. I bought it near the NTUC. Who want to buy just go to the NTUC there and walk straight and turn left and walk straight again. Maybe yu will find the shop! At my grandma's house was fun and wonderful day.
Hung Kye(4.4)-
I went to Eastern Europe during the Dec holdays with my family. We went to:
Berlin(Germany), Prague(Czech Republic), Krakow(Poland), Budapest(Hungary)and Vienna(Austria).
My most memorable part of the trip is Poland because that was the first time I touched snow in my life. It was also my first time experiencing such cold weather (-12 degrees)
We also visited the Auschwitz Concentration Camp where millions of Jews were tortured and massacred by the Nazi Germans during World War II. It was an eerie feeling to be at such a place.
An exciting part of the trip was our visit to the underground Salt Mine in Krakow. We went as far down as 163 meters underground through several tunnels and caverns, filled with beautiful statues made out of salt rocks.
In Budapest, we had dinner in a restaurant and enjoyed a Hungarian Folkalore music and dance at the same time. Unfortunately, I lost my hat, scarf and a pair of gloves due to my carelessness after our dinner there.
I spent a white Christmas in Budapest. I woke up early on Christmas Day and found many vehicles covered with glaring white snow on it. And I played with snow again!
The wonderful day ended with a River Danube cruise in the evening.
I understand that this River Danube is Europe's most inportant river for it is the longest one.
Vienna was our last destination but dissapointingly, it was the most boring one of all. I fell fast asleep in the theatre as the boring music enhanced my sleep well.
Still, it was my best holiday ever!
